Wild Boar Backstrap Loin Bone Out (frozen) 500g

As a game meat, wild boar meat is leaner and tends to be a darker red than ordinary pork. Mild in flavour, but with a slight "nutty" characteristic, due in part to its wild diet.

Inspiration: Bring the meat to room temperature before cooking. Ideal for pan frying, BBQ or stir-fries. Wild Boar is low in fat so be careful not to over cook it. We think it is best served medium.

Provenance: we source our wild boar from our field harvester in NSW.
